Home Upgrades Work to 45 Residences

Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation, located near Eganville, are looking to retain a qualifed contractor to complete upgrade work at 45 residences.  The work will address energy efficiency, enhance protection against flooding, water damage, extreme wind, and improve year-round comfort for residences.   In general work includes replacing windows with energy-efficient windows (34), replace doors (33), replace cladding and adding exterior insulation (10), replace roofing (5), repair roofing (6), repair siding (4), spray foam header insulation (6), pony wall insulation (2), overhang insulation 4), structural work (4), eaves / soffits / fascia (14), extensive grading and retaining wall (1), and chimney work (2).  Refer to Section 6.2 for submission requirements.  Proponents to submit Letter of Intent by May 14th , 2026 by 5 pm EST to CEC@pikwakanagan.ca.  Proponents must attend virtual site visit logistics meeting on May 15th at 1 pm, and attend site visits from May 19 - 22nd.
